The boat is on smaller side and that brings some limitations. So yes, guests sleep below deck and engine noise is unavoidable. Don’t recall any awful diesel smell but again due to its size exhaust in proximity can’t be avoided. It is a basic boat, slower electric compressors, but in 2019 it was fine for our trip. I actually looked to book again in January 2024 but it didn’t have enough guests to sail.The crew gave 100% , and did their best with what they got. I sailed on Komodo Sea Dragon recently, very different set up, large boat but had to use smaller tender carrying all gear for diving. Different price too. Check my recent video if you like.

@@czele123 hope u will enjoy ur next trip to indonesia. Other perpective perhaps interest to do river boating at tanjung Puting, kalimantan. Conservation area of orang Utan, gibbons, big nose monkey, other monkeys. Sleep on the boat. Fire fly is ur light. Have fun

Oh, thank you so much! I finally made it to Tulamben ! It is a small world after all, we had great time at Mimpi, great dive shop and hotel was super quiet in January.

Maximum depth is 30m but time is limited to approximately 7minutes so recording something cool is limited too. We did 5 dives in Bali so short version is pretty much it. Just editing my visit in HongKong on my way home.

Hi. Lights are very crucial equipment for good quality footage. I use 2 very inexpensive LEDs , wide angle video lights. They are very bright and pretty good value compared to other options. But of course, sky is the limit in UW equipment in general so depends on your budget and needs. Thank you for watching. As far as camera - I do like and recommend Lumix GH5 or 6 . Depends on what you want to film, for macro and close ups, Olympus TG 5 delivers great results. Many cameras can deliver great results but key is lighting so LED light is a must for colours.

Thanks for watching. Hmm, I would say many shots before the wreck dive are from Richelieu, when you see purple coral or Nemo nests that is Richelieu. Beautiful place, they removed it from top 10 in the world but in my opinion it is one of top 5😀🐟.

@@Sonofgaladriel1 I do have longer recordings of each anemone. The clips range from 20sec to 1:20min. My main focus was of course the clownfish, so the footage of longer duration wouldn’t be as smooth. As you know the anemones love current and it is quite a challenge to record in the ocean without shaking in combination of energetic clowns 😀. This short video doesn’t show all anemones I recorded but the actual long dive video does. These anemones in Philippines are definitely at largest and most colourful a have seen. It may take me some time to complete another shareable video, let me see. I saw your reef tanks videos, it is amazing that you can recreate ocean conditions at home!

I have a real fascination for these magnificent little creatures, because of their exceptional characteristics of hermaphroditism, life expectancy, bravery, symbiotic relationship, but obviously also because of their aesthetics and incredible variety as beautifully shown in your video. I actually filmed an attack of our dive master by maroon clownfish 2-3 metes from his home, clown won!That is how brave they are! And yes, same here I also usually lag behind my group when there is clownfish to film🙂. We chatted about Visayan islands about 3years ago , i am gland we finally went. Unfortunately some reefs were quite damaged during 2021 typhoon that hit Cebu area. But hopefully with time nature will do it’s “magic” and life will recover again.

@@czele123 I'm currently living in Hamilton Ont. I'm looking at going to the Philippines. I have found that the best way to get to the Philippines (Cebu) was via LAX. The times are good and its a direct flight. The best price I found was $1175.00 CDN. Return LA - Cebu. Cebu -LA Getting to LA ins't hard from Toronto. Not sure about Edmonton - LA?

I use Panasonic GH5 with 12-50 and 7-14 mm lenses. I have a couple of fairly inexpensive but powerful lights about 5000 lumens each.

Good for you, enjoy! If you can, include Richelieu rock dive site on your itinerary it is an outstanding dive. The DM brought that bubble ring gun, it was connected to his low pressure hose by BCD inflator I think. Then shot like a gun. Quite heavy unit. Have fun!
